About Us

Gissing Community Building 

Offering state-of-the-art facilities in a tranquil, village setting, Gissing’s award winning Community Building offers a unique location for use by individuals, community groups and businesses in the South Norfolk area.

Commissioned by The Heart of Gissing, the village charity, to improve and extend facilities for the local area’s groups and events, the building has become a popular choice for an increasingly wide range of users. Visually stunning both inside and outside, the building incorporates light and airy interior spaces which can be easily adjusted to provide a celebration venue, rehearsal space, meeting room or comfortable setting for classes, clubs and informal get-togethers.

Sophisticated energy systems ensure a comfortable environment whatever the weather and whatever the user’s requirements.  A kitchen equipped to an unusually high standard extends still further the opportunities for use.  Large windows overlook the local meadows and there is an outside seating area.

Although nestled in a rural environment, Gissing Community Building is less than 5 miles from Diss, less than 20 from Norwich and about 30 miles from Bury St Edmunds.  There is easy and ample car parking.
