Set in the heart of the village in a conservation area with picturesque views over the neighbouring meadows, Gissing’s Community Building will make any celebration more special, whether it is an elegant anniversary event or a lively children’s party. It also has the advantage of lying within 50 metres of the pretty 12th century church and special wedding packages can be arranged.
The building’s spacious main hall can accommodate around 100 people at round or rectangular tables. If it is opened up into the adjoining café area, further seating can be provided. The exceptionally well equipped, modern kitchen has been specially designed to make catering for large events easy and efficient.
A professional sound system, flexible lighting and blackout blinds can be used to create the required atmosphere and the building is licensed for the sale and provision of alcohol and for playing music.
Advanced temperature control systems ensure a comfortable environment whatever the season or the specific requirement. Separate disabled toilet facilities and baby changing facilities are available and there is easy access from the car park which is attractively lit up at night.
